Okay these nachos aren't any nachos. Not the "lazy" open the bag and dunk in some salsa. Nope these are restaurant quality, mouth watering nachos that you can make in under 10mins at home. Seriously. They are addicting and so delicious. You can make these just for you for a late night snack, or any gathering. Here's a quick recipe for some late night nachos. Topping's you can change up to your liking! Ingredients:
~ Half bag of Tositios Restaurant Style Nachos
~ few chopped jalapeño peppers - I say a few because I use the re-cut sliced peppers and then I slice them up into small cubes.
~ 1/4 cup quartered grape tomatoes
~ 1/4 cup red, yellow, or green pepper- either one tastes great... whatever you got or prefer.
cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar blend cheese
~ If you like meat on your nachos, go ahead and place! I don't put meat on mine, so I didn't include in this recipe.
Prepare on the side a few bowls/plates. One for salsa and the other for sour cream. These are for dunking the nachos in!How to make:
~ Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Get a flat baking pan and over with tin foil. place the nachos on the tin foil. Next place all your toppings on the nachos. Cheese first, then the veggies next. (I don't put meat on my nachos, but if you do, place on nachos with the veggies).
~Bake for 5-10mins - or until your cheese is melted to your liking! I find that happens between the baking time above.
~ Take out of oven and serve on a platter or keep on the baking pan! Enjoy it with your sides of salsa and sour cream!
Cake in a cup
Now this is one of my favourites. Its so fast and delicious, especially if you are craving something sweet! Its perfect for a late night snack or even for a random afternoon snack! Good thing about cake is that you can eat it any time of the day!
Ingredients (for 1 mug cake)
~4 tablespoons flour
Tasty Yogurt Parfait
~3 tablespoons sugar
~2 tablespoons cocoa powder
~ ½ teaspoon baking powder
~3 tablespoons milk
~1 tablespoon oil, vegetable or canola
~1 teaspoon vanilla extract
~1 tablespoon chocolate hazelnut spread, plus more for topping
~powdered sugar, for topping, optional
How to make it:
~ In a 12-ounce (375 ml) mug or larger, mix all ingredients (except the chocolate hazelnut spread) until just combined.
~Once combined, spoon the chocolate hazelnut spread on top of the batter.
~Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, watching to make sure it doesn’t spill over (depending on the size of the mug).
~Let cool one minute before eating. Top with additional chocolate hazelnut spread and powdered sugar- Or even whipped cream/ice cream! (optional).
If you like something healthy once in awhile but want something sweet, I'd recommend making this yummy parfait! You can make it with any yogurt and the fruits you like.This one is the one I most make so you can try it out as well or change it up! Either way, yogurt parfaits are fast and delicious.Ingredients
~1-2 cups of Strawberry yogurt (or any flavour you like)
~ 1 cup of mixed fruit- chopped up. I use: kiwi, banana, grapes, pineapple and blueberries.
~ 1 cup of granola.How to make it:
~Layer your yogurt into the bottom each of each bowl or glass. Then place one layer or fruit, then granola and again the yogurt. Repeat that layering until glasses are filled to the top. Serve parfaits immediately to keep granola crunchy.
